EPA and CARB Certification and Verification
Under current CARB and EPA rulings, it is possible to provide a single representative test of an alternative fuel system to cover multiple engine family applications. BAF Technologies has been involved in the certification and verification of alternative fuel systems and engines for over 10 years. Our staff has the knowledge and experience to develop mobile and stationary applications from the ground up. From component selection for off-the-shelf systems, to working with state of the art QS 9000 vendors, BAF can provide all the preliminary emission testing of an engine and/or system to ensure our clients meet the required emission standards during final stage testing at EPA or CARB recognized testing facilities. We are able to assist with the management of these types of programs as well. Our facility in Dallas Texas houses a computerized engine test cell capable of testing engines as small as 40 BHP, up to engines as large as 1000BHP and 2000ft/lbs of torque. We can install your engine, test it and help develop it to achieve your desired test results.
