BAF EXCEEDS COMPANY FORCAST
“Our CalComp system is proving to be a reliable system that has applications across the multiple platforms,” says John Bacon, president. “From here we will pursue certification of the F-Series using the same system as we continue to expand our product line with growing market demand.” BAF already has an order bank of more than 100 E350 vehicles and the company is projected to upfit more than 600 vehicles in 2007 across its diverse and growing product line which also includes the Ford E450, Ford Crown Victoria and the GM 8.1L. Meanwhile, as market demand grows, BAF’s engineering team continues to expand. The company welcomed industry veteran Pete Campbell as Project Manager to the seasoned team. Mr. Campbell previously worked at Ford Motor Company where during his 15-year tenure he amassed deep expertise in powertrain control systems, niche vehicles, certification processes and regulatory compliance. Prior to his work at Ford, Mr. Campbell worked at TDM World Conversions where he also worked with niche vehicles including alternative fuel applications. BAF continues to work closely with Clean Energy, SCAQMD and NYSERDA to enable all teams to achieve their alternative fuel goals.
