John
R. Bacon
President
Mr. Bacon,
a graduate in business from St. Louis University, has spent
his entire career in the automotive business. He has been President of BAF Technologies since 2000. Mr.
Bacon founded Detroit based TDM World Conversions in 1989
and became President of NGV Systems of Long Beach, CA in 1994.
Currently he serves on the California NGV Coalition board
and has been a member of the SAE for over 30 years.

Bill
Calvert
Vice President, Sales
Mr. Calvert
began his career in the Alternative Fuel Vehicle industry
in 1982 as national sales manager for Advanced Fuel Systems
located in Wichita, KS. Since that beginning, Mr. Calvert
has been involved in many AFV programs, providing leadership
and direction for manufacturers, utility companies, governments,
private companies, organizations and industry leaders. Mr.
Calvert was co-founder of Bachman NGV that, in 2003, changed
to BAF Technologies after the purchase of TranStar Energy
assets.

John Sledge
General Sales Manager
Mr. Sledge joined
BAF Technologies after holding senior leadership positions with both
large and startup technology companies. His experience is rooted in
General Management, Sales, Marketing and Engineering across the United
States and Asia Pacific. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree
from Georgia Tech and is located in Southern California.

Scot
Decker
Controller
Mr. Decker
joined BAF Technologies in early 2004. He served as Controller
and VP Operations for several small and large companies. In
addition to his financial responsibilities, he is involved
in the day-to-day operations of the company. Scot is a graduate
of Angelo State University.

Roger
Galloway
Director, Technical Support
Mr. Galloway
currently serves as the director of all technical operations,
from application development to establishing and implementing
service and repair procedures of products. He has over 25
years of experience in vehicle service and repair, including
10 years as a trainer on both gasoline and alternate fuel
systems. His current certifications include ASE Master Automotive,
Advanced Driveability L1, CNG F1 and CSA International CNG
Tank Inspection.

Scott
Scrima
Director, Operations
Mr. Scrima
began his career in the AFV industry over a decade ago. During
that time, his involvement has ranged from design and manufacture
of AFV fuel systems to supervision of upfit facilities. Mr.
Scrima was shop foreman at Transtar Technologies for 7 years
before his promotion to Operations Manager. Mr. Scrima has
managed a number of large AFV programs in his tenure with
the company, some of which included USPS, UPS, Dallas Area
Rapid Transit, Lone Star Gas, and the City of Dallas. He now
resides in New Jersey providing technical support for the
entire Northeast.

Pete Campbell
Project Manager
Pete Campbell comes to BAF after 15 years with Ford Motor Co. Besides a Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Technology and upcoming MBA education, Pete brings a background that includes; designing, building and certifying low-volume, niche market vehicles, Discovery for Product Liability allegations, interfacing with government agencies, leading vehicle teams to regulatory compliance and hands-on knowledge of Ford Powertrain control systems.
Prior to Ford, Pete spent 3 years with TDM World Conversions engineering and building niche vehicles for Ford, Saturn and General Motors.

Julie
Bacon
Director,
Marketing
Ms. Bacon
began her career as Marketing Manager for a Tier One automotive
supplier that converted vehicles for overseas sale and for
operation on alternative fuels. Since then she has gained
more than 15 years of marketing experience across automotive,
software, professional services and consulting industries.
Ms. Bacon holds a BA from Southern Methodist University and
now resides in the Washington, DC area.

Paul
Shaffer
Consultant
Mr. Shaffer,
a graduate of Southern Illinois University, has worked in
the AFV business for nearly a decade. As an Air Force officer,
Mr. Shaffer managed a nationwide contract, upfitting approximately
700 light-duty vehicles to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for
the Air Force. He also developed extensive working knowledge
of government contracts, grants, and procedures. Mr. Shaffer
joined BAF Technologies in late 2001 and has played a key
role in the strategic direction of the company. His recent
work involves launching the Hybrid-Fuel System program. |
