BAF provides EPA and CARB certifications/verifications, engineered products and fuel system design for alternative fuel vehicle projects. Our capabilities do not just begin and end with the upfit. We offer fuel system evaluation and design, specialized product development and manufacturing, upfits, and testing services. EPA and CARB Certification and Verification
BAF has been involved in the certification and verification of alternative fuel systems and engines for more than 15 years. Our staff has the knowledge and experience to develop mobile and stationary applications from the ground up. From component selection for off-the-shelf systems, to working with state of the art QS 9000 vendors, BAF can provide all the preliminary emission testing of an engine and/or system to ensure our clients meet the required emission standards during final stage testing at EPA or CARB recognized testing facilities.

Dual-Fuel Technologies
BAF is currently researching and developing fuel systems and conversion processes for both dual-fuel (diesel and CNG) vehicles.
